Paul Weigel – Author, Teacher, Serial Entrepreneur and Forerunner*

Paul K. Weigel co-founded “The Forerunner Project Inc.” in 2003. The Forerunner Project is a Canadian charitable organization dedicated to teaching, (speaking), mentoring, and coaching youth to find purpose and passion and to equip them to make exceptional contributions to better our world.

Paul Weigel is a certified MCore facilitator. MCore is based on the highly regarded motivational assessment tool SIMA (System for Identifying Motivational Abilities) developed over the last 60 years by Arthur F. Miller Jr. and People Management IncSIMA is used by the US military, Disney, and numerous non-profit organizations and Fortune 500 companies. The assessment tool identifies motivation and interests and is used to reveal personal purpose and shape Human Resources best practices.

Other Forerunner projects include, the “Forerunner Film Festival” formerly held in Canada and Costa Rica, This is Wisdom (radio) audio production featuring interviews and discussion with people (forerunners) from Canada, USA, and Costa Rica who are leading remarkable positive projects.

The Forerunner Project has also presented “Behind Closed Doors” in collaboration with CIGI (Center for International Governance Innovation – The Balsillie School of Business ) an expose on human rights violations in North Korea.

Mr. Weigel and the The Forerunner Project team have presented “The Entrepreneur Camp”, Discover Seminar series, and the Forerunner International School to appreciative audiences in Canada, Kenya and Costa Rica.

Mr. Weigel also serves as the chairman of the Board of Directors of the international relief organization “Thrive For Good” (formerly Organic for Orphans). Its vision is to eliminate extreme poverty throughout Africa by teaching people to grow their own food, natural medicine and income. Thrive has “grown” more than 5 million meals for families in 15 countries throughout Africa over the past 11 years.

Paul Weigel is the author of “A Journey in The Wilderness – Becoming Fruitful in the Kingdom”. The book has enjoyed critical acclaim and has often been described as a Christian classic with overwhelmingly positive reviews from its readers. Paul speaks on the insights of the book which are about becoming in order be fruitful and overcome.
